Hi {!firstname}, Welcome to my 5-part ecourse, Step-by-Step Fire Sale Marketing. My goal is to help make your fire sale more efficient, effective, and profitable through advance marketing. If you haven't already done so, make sure you read through the free report I sent you, Fire Sales Uncovered. It contains some valuable tips you can use to make your fire sale a success. One of the critical elements of a successful fire sale is planning. You can't just throw up a web page and list a bunch of marked-down items and expect to make money. You need to work out ahead of time how you'll market your fire sale to drive traffic – and conversions – to your site. That's what this 5-part ecourse is going to help you with. The easiest (and most effective) way to drive traffic to your sale is through your own list. These people are your customers, so they know, like, and trust you already, and you probably know that it's much easier to sell to a current customer than to find a new one. Give your current subscribers plenty of advance notice about your sale, maybe even a sneak peek at what you'll be offering. This will help generate a buzz, and get people thinking about what they need from you. In fact, you might even give them early access, the same way a brick and mortar business might hold an invitation-only pre-sale, before the doors open to the general public. Don't worry if you don't have a list, though. In the next lesson we'll talk about leveraging a different kind of list to find customers for your fire sale. Until next time, [SIGNATURE AND LINK] P.S. You can use a fire sale to build a list, too. I talk about that in Fire Sales Uncovered, in the section about What a Fire Sale Can Do for Your Business. Use that technique in your first fire sale, and your next one will be an even bigger success!
